Happy 4th of July!

Enjoying the bouncy bounce that she was not sure about at first! She loved it after all, but found it more fun to roll around than jump up and down!
We went to the annual Asby 4th of July celebration. Addie enjoyed herself...being her independent self! She was very social (as usual....gets that from her dad) and basically a perfect little girl! Everyone enjoyed their hugs and kisses from Adelaide as she made her way around the party. Matt subbed in for the horseshoe tourney....was hoping he would hurry and lose because after about 5 hours, little miss was losing her steam!
This photo is probably one of my favorite of her! She was so proud of herself for finding this stick and empty Mott's apple juice container. I threw the stick on the ground and she found it again....so here she is showing me that she is the great detective!
Of course Addie had no idea the meaning of the get together and celebration...she went to bed around 7...nothing unusual about that. And again, she slept through the bombs bursting in air! (She did last year at 5 mos old too....sleep like a log!!!) Matt and I went outside to watch the fireworks...living in the county area it completely legal to shoot off fireworks....we decided we needed a 360 degree swivel head to watch all of the fireworks! There were some beautiful ones and they were just as pretty as the big time firework displays....in fact, some were better than those....wonder if those people had a license to shoot them off?
Anyhow, happy birthday America! Thank you men and women who have fought for our freedom. Thank you to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you to the families who have dealt with the separation for long periods of time. All of this comes from one proud American!
