Shake, Rattle, and Roll!

Today Adelaide went to a PAT sponsored play time called, "Shake, Rattle, and Roll." She has never been around other babies, but she was definitely the life of the party! She was very involved in the activities and immediately made friends! As soon as she heard the music, she was already clapping and dancing...she was still in her coat and hat. I had a hard time getting her coat off, but luckily Mam-Mam was with us!
While all other babies were sitting in their mommy's lap and singing "This Little Piggy" on both feet, Ad decided she only wanted one foot completed and was out of my lap! Where did she go? Well, she decided to sit in the middle of the circle and clap and squeal with delight! She was very proud of herself too! I must say though, she was the only one clapping and squealing when the songs were over.
After the little piggy song, it was "Where is Thumbkin" ... she did not want to sit in my lap anymore...she wanted to be right in front of the teacher. Yes, I am beaming with PRIDE (and embarassment!!!). It was pretty funny though!
The babies played with several homemade rattles and things...the out came the BUBBLES! Of course, were do you think Addie went...that's right directly on the middle of the sheet to be right in front of the bubble making teacher!
She was the first to chase the bubbles and her hand and eye coordination was awesome!

I didn't get a picture, but she started crawling around and was trying to bite/eat the bubbles off of the ground (seriously, she looked like a little dog scrounging the floor for scraps). I was laughing so hard...
Here she is in the middle and after a little bit another little girl (she is one) decided to chase bubbles. The other moms were trying to push their kids to get the bubbles and pick them up, but they had little interest.
And of all, this is my favorite! I could not get her to look at the camera for anything!
