We spent our "day off" as a family today. Addie was up at her normal time - regardless of if we have a snow day or not! The days of sleeping in are a thing of the past. Addie played and we all ate breakfast together - eggs and bacon and biscuits for Cheri and me, and lovely Oatmeal and blueberries and pears Gerber for the muffinater. After our beautiful angel took her nap, we readied her for her first visit with Ole' St. Nicholas. We waited in line at Zona Rosa with some rather surly people, including a grandmother who told us her whole life story and was rather critical and mean to her two grandchildren she has with her. It made me sad to see how some children have to grow up, honestly. Anyway, we finally made it to the front of the line, and Adelaide was bouncing up and down she was so excited, seriously!! She sat on Santa's lap, but wouldn't show us those pretty two teeth of hers until the "elf" tickled her with a long feather that Sophie would have been all over had he been with us! As it was, Adelaide took the perfect picture, as you can see below. We then went Christmas shopping at good ole' Wal-Mart(for Addie's wagon that Santa will bring her next week), and I took a couple pics with my new LG Dare phone. After that, we stopped by and got Orange Chicken from Panda Express and put our tuckered out daughter down for her afternoon nap! Whew! What a day! Productive for us, and the little rugrat was a perfect baby today! Cheri and I are so blessed to have her!!!
