she got 3 shots today! Adelaide had her 6 month well-baby exam today! She is doing great and is absolutely perfect! Dr. Pickett requested to take her home, but hopefully he can settle for a visit! She is in the 75th percentile for length, 50th percentile for her head circumference and almost in the 90th percentile for her weight...not quite there yet. She is only a couple of ounces off from her her ideal weight in proportion to her length. She is maintaining her percentile average which is what they look for in babies. She doesn't have any teeth, she can sit-up unassisted for awhile now, she rolls all directions, tries to crawl (but seems to go backwards), and so she is doing what she should be doing.
Tomorrow we will try peas with her; hopefully we will find a food she likes. My mom gave her sweet potatoes yesterday and she did better with them than the day before, but she makes a "yucky" face when she has to eat them. I fed her the rest of the container tonight and she made the face again, but she finished it off (I also think she was super hungry!). She really loves her cereal and so we tried to mix the veggies in with the cereal, but she was not fooled. Lil' stinker!
